East Asian CollectionThis region includes China, Japan, Korea and Tibet, and the time period of most of the collections date from the late 19th to early-to-mid 20th century. Collection strengths include foreign popular culture with regard to the region, colonial wars and Christian missionary activities. At the end there is a section on the Diaspora, primarily showing postcards and comic books relating to Chinese in America and South Africa
