Historic Battles, by Belgian company Cox International and distributed in Canada. All 306 stickers are present, which is rare because producers usually restrict a few pieces in order to sell more packets to collectors trying desperately to complete their album. Covers 17 different battles, each spanning 2 pages. Produced in 5 different languages. Some of the historical inaccuracies and omissions are interesting. For instance, for the 1967 Six Day War, it is written: The tension which had been smouldering for a long time between Israel and Egypt inevitably ended up in a sudden as much as rapid clash. The Israelis armoured forces, backed up by a powerful air fleet – fact of decisive importance for the final successful outcome – penetrated into the Egyptian territory, and by a swift advance onto the Sinai peninsula reached the Suez Canal. At the same time other detachments occupied Jerusalem as well as Cisjordan. This sudden action, supported by a perfect military preparation and carried out with up to date weapons defeated the inexpert Egyptian troops. B
