Note: Calderoni was established in 1840 in Milan’s Via della Lupa, known today as Via Torino. At that time, Milan was a romantic city, dominated by the Habsburg dynasty. In 1870, Calderoni opened a prestigious establishment in Piazza Duomo, which soon became a point of reference for the city’s aristocracy. Calderoni became the official supplier of the House of Savoy and its prestigious customers included the nobility and royal houses of Europe. In 1942, Calderoni moved to Via Montenapoleone, symbol and centre of Italian luxury in the European Capital of fashion, design and the jewelry, remains Calderoni’s flagship store in Italy to this day.
Very rare accounting of the 1st Battalion Indigenous Eritrean troops wounded and killed during the Italian invasion of Libya in 1912. It gives the soldiers name, grade, nature of the injury and any annotations. 10 sheets in total, as well as a telegram reporting on the death of an Eritrean soldier from a head shot. B

A document showing the Amharic/Geez alphabetical table. It is new to me the way it is arranged. I think it was done at the time of Haile Selassie in his early years. This was done in commemoration of King Menelik II. The first column represents the modernized form of learning the alphabets. The third column shows the much older form. The royal insignia in the middle between the two sovereigns, Menelik II and Haile Selassie is that of the Solomonic dynasty. B
