Set of gum cards produced by American company TOPPS in 1950, entitled Freedom's War. This subset is dedicated to the Korean War and comprises all 112 cards and is complete. All contain descriptions on reverse. A great find for anyone wanting to study American pop culture regarding the Cold War, China and North Korea at the time of the Korean War. Titles include surprise attack, direct hit, stand or die, hunt for snipers, first blood, bombs on target, death of a pal, they wont stop!, rushed by reds, village attack, strange weapon, push to Pusan, shelling of Taegu, jumping a sentry, suicide attack, red sniper and more.
