SEA 128SEA 128Vintage album of real photographs, from the Spanish American War in the Philippines. There are 26 photographs in all, many being posed groups of native people: men holding spears (?) and wearing top hats, a family collected outside a hut, young boys, and boats on the river. There is one picture of a hanging, with two members of the American military nearby, looking on; a group of what looks like Filipino military officials, and so on. Brown cloth over boards with "Philipine Views"stamped on front cover. There is some rubbing to boards and wear to cloth around edges, and at head and foot of spine. The front board is warped from water damage, probably, but the interior is not affected. Blue and gray endpapers. The photographs are pasted on heavy boards. All are in very good condition, with no fading beyond any natural aging. M
