3 photos of missionary interest. Two of them show the arrival of King Albert to a town in the Belgian Congo in 1909. This was the famous trip taken by the King shortly before the Belgian government purchased the colony. The photos came from the archive of Giorgio Torchia. He was charged by the Vatican in the early 20th century with photographing Catholic missionary activity and the lives of local people around the world.
