Collection of 7 out of 10 volumes of The Russo Japanese War Fully Illustrated. It was issued between April 1904 and September 1905. It was published by the Kinkodo Company in Tokyo. The complete run of 10 volumes consists of 1420 pages, loaded with photographic images and illustrations I have never seen before and there are quite a few advertisements for Japanese companies. Written in english, remarkably, all of the fold out maps are intact. This collection includeds volumes 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9 and 10. B AH

Collection of 117 cards from the card set Horrors of War, by Gum Inc of Philadelphia in 1938. The complete set consisted of 288 cards and it was devoted to three themes: the Japanese invasion of China, the Spanish Civil War and the Italian Invasion of Abyssinia.This collection consists of the Japanese invasion of China. This is the only card set published that demonstrates US popular culture with respect to the Japanes invasion of China. The propaganda on the reverse of the cards is noteworthy.
